Master Thomas H. Levesque
7th-Degree Master Black Belt
Received his 7th-degree master black belt on May 16th, 1998 from Grand Master Dick Pulsifer. Original Founder of the American Academy of Martial Arts in Clovis in 1986. Opened another school in Fresno in 1989. Earned the title of Instructor of the Year in 1990, and has taught many students through their 5th-degree black belt. Currently Volunteers in an Advisory role.
Sensei Jeff Schneider
5th-Degree Black Belt
Sensei Jeff earned his 5th Degree Black Belt in July 2013. He has been a student of Sensei Levesque since 1994.
His entire family has taken martial arts at the school and have all earned their black belts as well.
He has received much recognition for his dedication including Black Belt of the Year in 1998, Man of the Year in 2005, and Instructor of the Year in 1999, 2008, and 2013.
Sensei Andy Alejo
5th-Degree Black Belt
Sensei Andy earned his 5th Degree Black Belt in December 2012. He has been a student of Sensei Levesque since 1993.
He has received much recognition for his dedication including Black Belt of the Year in 2000.
Sensei John Recchio
5th-Degree Black Belt
Sensei John Recchio earned his 5th Degree Black Belt in July 2020 and has been a student of the Sensei Levesque since 1998. John’s son has also earned his Black Belt at the Academy.
John’s awards include; Student of the year in 2002, Black Belt of the Year in 2005, Instructor of the Year in 2017, and Person of the Year in 2018!
Sensei Howard Wong
5th-Degree Black Belt
Sensei Howard Wong earned his 5th Degree Black Belt in July 2020 and has been a student of Sensei Levesque since 2000.
His awards include 2005 Student of the Year , 2014 Man of the Year, and 2015 Instructor of the Year!
Sensei Ed Rodriguez
4th-Degree Black Belt
Sensei Ed Rodriguez earned his 4th Degree Black Belt in January 2017 and has been a student of Sensei Levesque since 2002.
Sensei Ed has four children who have also earned their black belts from Master Levesque.
He has been awarded Black Belt of the Year in 2006, Instructor of the Year in 2009, and Man of the Year in 2013.
Black Belt Kevin White
3rd-Degree Black Belt
Black Belt Kevin earned his 3rd Degree Black Belt in June 2018 and has been a student of the AAMA since 2005.
He has been awarded Junior Black Belt of the Year in 2011, Jr-Adult Student of the Year in 2014, and Instructor of the Year in 2018!
