Our Style

AAM KA JUTSU:

The physical style of martial art we teach is called AAM KA JUTSU which stands for American Karate Art or American Martial Technique. It is a mixed martial art to be used for a practical self-defense.

We don’t teach long drawn out, choreographed fight scenes like the fancy ones you may see in movies. AAM KA JUTSU is meant to defend you in real world situations, to get you back to safety. In our school we also don’t treat martial arts as a sport, it’s much more than that. Our instructors do not teach our style as a competition between students to see who is the best because we believe in doing so we would discourage more students than we would encourage, and everyone learns differently.

Some of the many martial arts styles that are included in AAM KA JUTSU are:

  • Karate
  • Tae Kwon Do
  • Judo
  • Ju Jutsu
  • Arnis
  • Aikido
  • Kung Fu
  • Weapons

BU KARA DO

BU KARA DO is the code that we live by, and it is filled with characteristics that every student should see in themselves. This is yet another aspect of martial arts that won’t only help students at our dojo, but also in all of life. Whether it be school, work, meeting new people, or finding a job.

There are ten characteristics included in BU KARA DO that we like to see in all of our students and ourselves as instructors. They are as follows:

  • Honor
  • Trust
  • Dedication
  • Sacrifice
  • Courage
  • Respect
  • Loyalty
  • Integrity
  • Control
  • Wisdom
